Stop Giving Yourself The Chance

We need to have a serious talk about something that’s been bothering me for a while, something I haven’t really addressed until now. Honestly, I feel like it’s something most people in the fitness sphere don’t address.
You need to stop giving yourself the chance! Yes, I know that seems like a counterproductive statement when it comes to personal growth and development, but hear me out. What I mean by this is that you need to stop giving yourself a chance to fail.
Failure can be one of many things. When I’m talking about failure here's what I mean
Quitting
Not starting
Falling off
Avoiding
Procrastinating
It’s Called Fear
It’s honestly pretty common in today's age. For most of us, we’ve been taught from day one that “failing” is a bad thing. That to me, is one of the greatest detriments to having a positive mental space. Failing should be viewed as a positive thing, unfortunately our parents, the education system, society in general all view failure in a negative light. The problem with this is that people now have a fear of failure, and because of that they tend to steer clear of things that they don’t think they can accomplish.
I challenge you to view failure in a different more positive light. Failure is a good thing. Failure is a point of growth. The key here is continuing to try again and again, if you fail and keep trying there is always incremental growth.
Practice Failure
The importance of failure lies within those small moments of incremental growth. Mental toughness plays the largest part in practicing failure.
The act of practicing failure is all around us, we just need to look to actually see it and to understand the impact of it. Take a baby bird for example, in order to grow and thrive and live its life to the fullest it has to leave the nest right? But the only way it can leave the nest is to learn how to fly. The baby bird doesn’t try to fly, fail and then look at momma bird and say “Nope, I’m staying here” IT KEEPS TRYING!
That’s what I mean by practicing failure, keep trying, keep pushing, keep failing. Fail until you think you can’t fail any longer, then fail again. Each point of failure will get you closer to success.
STOP GIVING YOURSELF THE CHANCE TO FAIL!
